SEIGINE’S Harp Research

This is my story about my harp journey, what I have learned, and where I will post my research and handouts for classes.

I have played the harp for several years and have only taken a few lessons. I am largely self-taught. I have loved music from an early age, singing, playing the piano, flute and recorder. Later in my life I discovered harp music and fell in love with it. I joined the SCA and became apprenticed to Mistress Morwynna Crewe, who introduced me to the harp and bardic studies, and is responsible for my continued interest in the art of the harp. Today I own two harps, one is a 25-string harp from Heartland Harps and the other is a Music Makers 31 string gothic harp gifted to me by Morwynna.

Here are my class hand outs and my research paper on the Evolution and Mythical History of the Harp.
